The common idea is that volunteering is for people with time on their hands. Our experience with students says exactly the opposite: the most committed volunteers are the busiest ones.

The session covered a number of important themes: choosing the right path, weighing personal inclination against what the job market offers, and practical advice from specialists and graduates who shared their own experience with those attending.

It closed with an open question session that let students take part directly and ask about what was on their minds, in a supportive atmosphere that reflects the foundation's mission of enabling university students.
