Diwaniya: belonging in a time of estrangement
A diwaniya conversation that brought students together in a genuine setting to share experience and ideas about volunteering and belonging to a community.
The activity ran as part of the foundation's annual programme at Damascus University, with the student chapter at the Faculty of Media. The programme was designed to be as practical as possible: a short talk, then an open discussion, then work in small groups.
Those attending took part in hands-on exercises and left with a short plan of their own. This activity runs regularly, and its dates are posted on the activities page and in the newsletter.
